Getting to know Him, Danyelle Sanseverino

I was born and raised in New York City. I finished college with a degree in Radiology. Right now I am presently in Anaheim, California attending a two year Bible truth training. I was raised as a Christian and my family met with the church in New York City. Although I was raised as a Christian, I never really appreciated my heritage. It was always my mother who was active. Now I have to say the reason I am here is not because of something my mother did, or because she wanted me to be here, it is because I have really seen the Lord. The God of glory has appeared to me in a personal, intimate way and I can't help but give my life to Him.

About three years ago I attended a week long conference in California. We went over the book Song of Songs. At that time the Lord touched me in such a real way. I saw how much the Lord loved me and was just waiting for me to love Him above everything else. It was then that I decided to give two years of my life after college to come to this Bible Training and pursue Him even more. Now that I am here I am the happiest that I have ever been. There are so many young believers here from all over the United States that have also been attracted by our dear Lord Jesus. I am very thankful that my God has shown Himself to me and I look forward to knowing, pursuing, and running after Him day by day.

“Only Christ”

I am not familiar with the works of many Christian authors, but I do know of two. These authors and their ministry have led me to know Christ. They are Witness Lee and Watchman Nee. I started reading their works a couple of years ago. I have read a number of their books and I can't describe to you the spiritual impact they have had on my Christian life. Their writings never give me mere doctrines, a feeling of condemnation, or just a list of rules. These writings only give me Christ. The more I read the more I get brought to Christ. The focus of this ministry is to just present Christ with all His enjoyable aspects so that He might become our life and everything. My relationship with the Lord has gotten so much deeper and sweeter.
